The journey to join the Senior School begins in the Autumn term of Year 6 or Year 8, for applications into Year 7 and 9. Most importantly, our assessment day is relaxed, low-key and friendly and designed to bring out the best in every candidate. We welcome students from a large number of locals schools, both maintained and independent. We are delighted to announce that SWPS will open its doors to boys from September 2026, subject to regulatory approval from the DfE. We believe in developing our students’ talent, supporting them to become curious, ambitious and generous individuals, ready to take on life when they leave us. Scholarships are offered in recognition of achievement in five areas: Academic, Art & Design, Music, Drama and Sport.
